The Steel & Stone Valor Rally was a powerful gathering of men of God from diverse churches, united with the purpose of encouraging, inspiring, and challenging one another in their faith journeys. This event fostered a sense of community and brotherhood, creating an atmosphere where participants could grow spiritually while enjoying fellowship and fun.

Attendees engaged in friendly competitions, including a BBQ cook-off, axe throwing, cornhole, and washers, which added a spirited and enjoyable element to the day. The highlight of the rally was a thought-provoking message delivered by Todd Schumacher, paired with uplifting music from JD Broussard that enriched the overall experience.

The Valor Rally provided a fantastic opportunity for men to come together, forge deeper connections, and celebrate their shared commitment to spiritual growth. We look forward to the next event, eager to continue building this vibrant community of faith.

Be MEN of VALOR!

Where are the mighty warriors? Where are the men trained for battle? What is a man of valor? The Hebrew word for valor is used 242 times in the Old Testament and can mean faculty, power, strength, wealth, property, competent, brave, landowner, army, and upper class. A man of valor is a man who leaves a legacy. One that shows he has intentionally invested in other men. He as helped train his brother in the ways of battle. He has shown how to keep his eyes up and defended those who cannot defend themselves. He keeps watch over the orphan and widow. He is diligent for his family. In his power, he elevates his wife by laying down his life for her. His wealth is found in a bride that flourishes amid fierce battle. His earthy prize is a quiver full of arrows fired out into the battlefield.  His mantle is Christ displayed in his spouse over him. His face is that of a lion prepared to defend against his many foes. He is gentle as a lamb to those in need. He is quick to take action as his orders have already been given. ADVANCE THE KINGDOM! Passivity should not be found in him. Apathy should be lost in his thoughts. His inheritance is tangible and is passed on to his children’s children. He is blessed and favored. That blessing and favor is handed down for generations. A man of valor is found in Christ. He is part of a band of brothers. HE IS NEVER ALONE! HE IS NEVER LEFT BEHIND! HE LAYS DOWN HIS LIFE FOR OTHERS! He understands the complications and messiness of life. His hands are dirty from helping his brothers out of the muck and mire. He knows the battle is lifelong. He knows some of his brothers will fall. He knows that one day he too will fall. But he has already been falling to his knees since he was a young man. One day he will get to stand before his father and hear. “Well done!” You have suffered well my son. You have fought valiantly through your surrender to me.
